The latest technological advances in the field of genetics and genomics and application in ART or infertility practise will be covered. Topics include (1) Genomic fertility analysis for female infertility – premature ovarian insufficiency, enhansing response to controlled ovarian stimulation and reducing OHHS risk, recurrent implanttaion failures, recurrent pregnancy losses, pharmacogenomics in female infertility treatment (2) Genomic fertility analysis for male infertility – genetics of impaired spermatogenesis, non obstructive azoospermia, pharmacogenomics in male infertility, genetics of DFI, efficacy of testicular sperm extraction methods. (3) Pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy, structural rearrangements and monogenic disorders (4) prenatal screening for aneuploidy including serum marker testing and NIPT (5) genetic evaluation of the fetus or POC (6) Genetic workup for bad obstetric history, Consanguinity risks and prevention of recessive disorders with case studies and report interpretation (7) Basics of genetic counseling, genetic technologies covering cytogenetics, FISH, PCR, Sanger and next generation sequencing and international guidelines for genetic testing.
